Not Included:
Costs (copays, deductibles) associated with the second abdominal surgery
Costs of mandatory preoperative evaluations:
Medical clearance, labs, and EKG - $350 or insurance copay.
Psychological Evaluation - $200 or insurance copay.
Registered Dietitian Clearance - $80 or your insurance copay.
Weight loss surgery pre-op and post-op evaluation with Dr. del Pino - $250
Copay for visit with Dr. del Pino to evaluate your condition requiring second abdominal surgery
Costs or copays associated with tests to determine if you have a condition that requires abdominal surgery (for example: endoscopy, CT scan, x-rays, ultrasound). This is usually covered by insurance.
In order to qualify for this offer:
You must be insured.
Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances accepted.
This offer is for you if your insurance plan does not cover weight loss surgery or if they do but they did not approve your surgery
This price is ONLY valid for weight loss surgery done at the same time of an abdominal surgery.
You MUST be a candidate for weight loss surgery (BMI must be 30 or higher)
As per usual, medical, psychology and dietary evaluations are mandatory before weight loss surgery.
The abdominal surgery is medically necessary and approved by your insurance plan.
Examples of abdominal surgery: umbilical, incisional or hiatal hernia repair, gallbladder removal, anti-reflux surgery
Your insurance plan MUST cover the cost of abdominal surgery at either Mission Regional Medical Center or Rio Grande Regional Hospital (hospital must be in network with your insurance)*
Your insurance plan MUST cover the cost of the Dr. Del Pino performing abdominal surgery. (Dr. del Pino must be in your insurance plan network)
We will verify your insurance plan covers the cost of your abdominal surgery performed by Dr. Del Pino at either hospital.
You will be responsible for the copays and deductibles associated with your abdominal surgery as required by your insurance plan.
